Karolina Zmitrowicz

Conference manager

Experienced requirements engineer and quality manager, actively acting to promote quality in IT.

Between 2011 and 2013 she was an active member of REQB® Board. Today, she continues work on requirements engineering standardization supporting IREB®.  She is one of the main authors of IQBBA® (former IBAQB) certification scheme for business analysts. 

She is an active member of several organizations acting to increase knowledge and maturity of requirements engineering and QA community. She was involved in establishing first IREB® Local Community.

From March 2018 she is the president of SJSI and a member of the board of IREB®.

Karolina currently works as freelance IT consultant and trainer in requirements engineering, business analysis and quality management fields helping the customers to optimize their operations and development processes to achieve better business value.


Arnika Hryszko

Organizing committee – sponsors

Experienced software tester, Professional SCRUM Master and coach. In the industry since 2008. She passed the whole path of a self-respecting professional, ranging from manual testing, via web services, performance testing, mobile applications, data warehouses, business intelligence, embedded systems, advanced automation to using machine learning in testing. In her work, besides obsessive orientation on the highest quality of tested applications, she particularly appreciates close cooperation with those responsible for other areas of application development, helping them understand that testing is not (only) pointing out their errors, but an integral part of the software development process.

Active lecturer, co-organizer of local events including GeekWeekWro.

Outside working hours she travels, sails, climbs and shoots.


Weronika Werłos

Organizing committee

Colorful bird, destroyer of worlds and the Inspector Gadget of the reQuest conference. Her path to the testing world wasn’t short, but thanks to it she gained an interesting insight at the quality of both, product and customer communication.

Certified tester with experience in many desktop and web projects, currently employed at Bright IT. Speaker and mentor who will always be happy to help the beginner in the field of testing.

She likes new challenges and is constantly learning, she believes that one can always be better and your knowledge should be shared.


Joanna Pliś

Organizing committee – speakers’ support

Experienced business analyst. Sociologist. During more than 10 years of professional experience she has moved from a process analyst (business process expert) to a business analyst in IT projects.

She used to work in both large corporation, and in a small softwarehouse with several dozen employees.

He enjoys working with both development teams and management. She used to analyze processes and design solutions for clients from the following industries: telecommunications, healthcare, public administration, insurance, retail.

She is open for new challenges, no business area is terrifying about her. She prefers diversity rather than specialisation in one area.

She advocates a rational approach to project documentation and agile methodologies.

In her free time she plays board games.


Lucjan Stapp

Organizing committee

Scientific and didactic employee of the Warsaw University of Technology. Author of more than 45 publications, including 14 on various testing and quality assurance topics.

Manager and member of test teams in over a dozen projects. Certified tester (CTAL-TM and CTAL-TA).

A supporter of agile methodologies.

Founder member of the Association of Quality of Information Systems.

He conducts test training and is an accredited trainer of ISTQB Foundation Certificate exam preparation courses. Member of ISTQB Glossary WG and ISTQB Exam WG.


Sebastian Małyska

He graduated University of Science and Technologies in Bydgoszcz. Since 2005 works in software engineering. Tester, leader and manager. Currently employed at Cognifide. ISTQB certified tester. IREB certified analyst. Co-founder and speaker at conferences. Co-founder Bydgoszcz’s meetup. Lector at postgraduates studies. Vice-president of PTB.

The most important non-professional interest is his family.


Tomasz Watras

Graduate of the Poznań School of Management and Banking, specialization: “Banking” and the Faculty of Computer Science, Wrocław University of Technology, specialization: “Software engineering”.

In software testing for many years taking part in many different IT projects, mainly for the financial sector.

Co-founder of TestBenefit, a company providing comprehensive outsourcing services in the area of software quality assurance. As an expert with many years of experience, he actively works to promote knowledge and modern methodologies in the field of software testing, being, among others, a lecturer at the Copernicus University of Management and Information Technology in Wrocław.

His non-professional interests include mountain and bicycle tourism and everything related to Volvo passenger cars.
